     The painting “Normandy landscape with a small sunny stream” shows, in a sensible manner, different ways of representing, staging the body, nature and matter. But from a more conceptual perspective, the painting is equally guided by the question of Jacques Derrida’s deconstructionist aesthetic scheme and acts as a postmodern reverse of the setting (raising a radical suspicion about structured language and functionalist and descriptive approaches to traditional hermeneutics).

     Conceived according to two specific approaches, the work is part of the major axes that cross today, such as the charming little sunny streams that can be found while walking in the Hautot-sur-Mer region, the landscape themes of contemporary Norman and international art, such as the environment through the built space, the territory, nature, the body in its aesthetic, social, political but also media and performative dimensions… But also the narrative in disruptive forms related to books, writing, little pigs who like to roll in the mud like crazy, the image and atypical installations partially inoperative (especially in regard to the rise of the societal phenomenon).
