ÉTAPLES-SUR-MER : END CLAP FOR THE SUMMER OF ARTS (ESTIVALES DES ARTS)

The awards ceremony for this 35th edition took place last Sunday, in Étaples-sur-Mer, in the presence of the winners. [...]

On Sunday, the municipal team and the members of the jury were gathered for the last stage of the Summer of Arts (Estivale des Arts) salon, which consisted in awarding the prizes for this 35th edition. The jury, made up of Carole Boutillier, Dominique Barroo and Stéphane Maillart, gathered to try with difficulty to decide between the 130 artists registered for this edition, very rich in its diversity, creativity and the talents it has brought together. For nearly 3 hours, the jury walked the aisles of the show to observe each of the works on display. As a reminder, the objective was to award a prize per category : Painting, Watercolor, Pastels, as well as a Youth Prize and the Grand Prize of the jury. For the occasion and for the first time, the jury presented a summary of their meeting in order to highlight the creations and work of everyone. The noted artists were cited before moving on to the announcement of the results. [...]

Prize in the painting category awarded to Éric Bourdon. Prize in the watercolor and mixed media category awarded to Étienne Gonda. Prize in the pastel category awarded to Béatrice Buche. Youth prize awarded to Emma Chaumoitre and Océane Thuillier (painting school).
