Through the content of its new exhibition, the FlorDavelia gallery seeks to present a new vision of contemporary art, especially for laymen in the subject, for those who hesitate to enter a gallery, for children and their imagination.
For this purpose, David Mac Millan, the gallery owner, called on the Lille artist painter Eric Bourdon who creates funny plump and dislocated peoples, evolving in fantastic landscapes in bright acrylic colors. Inspired by his studies in philosophy, Eric Bourdon says that he improvised himself as an artist as he improvises his works. “ I start from scribbles of characters, fuzzy, I establish a dialogue between them, until their silhouette begins to take shape, their face, their body... Then I bring them into a crazy story that materializes in the form of other chaotic figures, fantastic animals, in stylized settings, ” he adds.
